The Purple Parrot Village Resort is a gated community that is a well established landmark among those who have stayed in a Perdido Key condo in the past. We are not beach front, however our outdoor pool is rivaled by none other in the area! Large enough for the entire family to enjoy, the 5,000 square foot pool circulates over a continuous waterfall cave and surrounds a bridge-accessible island hot tub. This magnificent island oasis is the perfect place for relaxing in the breeze or going for swim to cool off on a warm Florida day and a great vacation destination for those traveling to Perdido Key during the slower seasons.

Enjoy our heated indoor pool and hot tub which are suitable for use all year round. Or, visit our fitness center which is furnished with an elliptical, two bikes, two treadmills a 3-station weight machine and cable television! Then shower off and relax in one of the his-and-hers saunas located on either side of the pool house...
Each of our villas are privately owned and therefore are uniquely decorated. This allows a return to the Purple Parrot Village Resort to be a new experience every time!!! Many guests, on the other hand, choose to return to a familiar place and request a specific villa each year. All of our villas include a washer, dryer and are fully furnished. Each boasts extended cable, internet access and many have screened in balconies. Whether your stay is for beaches or business we have a place for you within our piece of paradise here at the Purple Parrot Village Resort!
Perdido Key's most beautiful strech of beach, Johnson Beach National Seashore, is just a quick 2 minute drive from the front of the resort. Here visitors to the Key have access to a large parking area, covered pavilions, showers, restrooms, picnic areas and the most stunning beach sunsets you will ever experience. The main road is 2 miles long and continues eastward beyond the parking area to allow visitors access to a more secluded 5 miles of beach where at some points only a mere 50 yards is between the north and south shorelines!!! This is a truely unique area which is sure to provide you with breathtaking memories and hopes of coming back soon!!!

NOTE: The Purple Parrot Resort no longer has a Bar and Grill as of December 2011. We may decide to reopen the food and beverage area in the future, but currently the thatch-roof area near the outdoor pool is used as a shade area for our guests to get out of the hot summer sunshine.
